Eco-school in Brazil

Underprivileged communities around the world rely on the support of civic-minded companies like Alstom Brazil. The neighbourhood of Jaguare in Sao Paulo, Brazil is home to the Augusto do Amaral state school. The school educates children from this area. Alstom employees volunteered to repaint the school, and now the Alstom Foundation is investing in an environmental education programme to promote sustainable living in the community and to rehabilitate the large area of neglected green space at the eco-school.
